Project Description

The unique shape and selected materials presented numerous challenges for the facade and roofing elements of the project–the Architect’s vision included the use of small ceramic tiles on the undulating vertical and horizontal surfaces. We assessed and formulated a technical review and recommendations in regard to the facade design and provided technical narratives for the integration of the support structure and exterior finishes. During the course of pre-construction, we formulated a testing regimen to determine the viability of the Architect’s facade design and provided oversight and a detailed report based on the results of the testing.
