Gucci Flagship Store

Project Description

Located in a prime retail district of Central Hong Kong, the architectural team developed a stunning facade on the podium of the tower to create visual interest and support the Gucci store. The face features nine different glass configurations, including custom rolled glass with iconic patterns and the Gucci logo. The entire facade incorporates fiber optic lighting, which is integrated with the profiles of the glass glazing systems, illuminating three layers of glass and metal cladding. Suspended structural fins provide support for the primary weathering facade and provide transparency for the back-lit glass lights.

Services

LB Enclosures provided complete system design for the iconic wall elements of the podium, based on facade concepts developed by the architectural team.
